In addition to providing engineering services to communities throughout East Central Illinois, Berns, Clancy and Associates offers on-going municipal planning services to various communities and agencies. Our services include assisting local governments with land use planning, public facility and transportation network planning, and development decisions.

We assist communities by preparation of staff memoranda for Plan Commissions, Board of Trustees, and City Councils, which outline and help clarify the implications of their decisions. This involves review of site plans and development plats / plans submitted by developers; review of requests for zoning changes, conditional uses, and variances; and other issues relating to the growth and development of the community.
